SEIU in the Fine Print
It should be no surprise that SEIU is endorsing the Democrat in the Kentucky Senate race.
But it seems they are trying hard not to advertise it.
And if you need help remembering SEIU:
Note he says he "would not be standing here" without SEIU.
Perhaps her victory speech will sound much the same.
And if you still don't remember SEIU's true colors... They are black and blue.
The man in the brown shirt is Kenneth Gladney, who was getting by selling merchandise at political rallies, Gadsden Flags, and Obama Buttons.
All SEIU members were found not guilty of beating Gladney.
And finally if you did not watch the first video above to the very end, you may not recall that SEIU worked closely with, and shared office space with ACORN, an organization that agreed to "cease all Ohio activity" in a 2010 settlement resulting from voter fraud allegations in 2008.

SUPER STEEL (!!!!!!!!!!!)
First ZDP-189 knife I have owned.
Someone did some file work on it and sold it back to the knife shop. I got it for less than the price of an unmolested knife.
Spyderco Delica (Light weight?) ZDP-189 British Racing Green...
I guess it weighs less now.

The internet likes gun pictures, right?
This makes me smile.
It is shaped like a brick. It has no safety. It is in a minor caliber. It is everything 1911 owners say they hate.

The Good The Bad and The Fake
I don't know much about knife steels.
From the little research I have done S30V is one of the better steels you see in common production knives (Spyderco comes to mind).
That said I'm interested in the Buck Hartsook as it is the least costly option in S30V.
But buyer beware there are some close copies out there, with all the markings of the real thing.
I don't really know if the Buck Smidgen is that bad. It is 420HC steel which is at the bottom of the scale. I don't know if it is much better than the Chinese mystery steel (maybe it is).

Moms Demand Myrmidons
Moms Demand Myrmidons
Not against guns for self-defense FOR THEM. --- Breda
@DLoesch WAIT. These moms hate guns but had ARMED SECURITY????????????
— Mary Chastain (@mchastain81) April 27, 2014
In pre-industrial Europe the word "myrmidon" carried many of the same connotations that "minion" does today. Myrmidon later came to mean "hired ruffian" (according to the Oxford English Dictionary) or "a loyal follower, especially one who executes orders without question, protest, or pity - unquestioning followers."

Cold Steel Hello/Goodbye
Found a new/old Cold Steel Voyager, and I am planning to give one away...
So group photo time.
The Gunsite II is the newer old model with the metal clip. The Gunsite I and the two Medium Voyagers are the old old model with the plastic clip, which I like much better.

R.I.P.O.F.F.
"Ballistic gel test of the G2 Research R.I.P. "Radically Invasive Projectile" in 9mm."
I'll say I do find the better mousetrap alluring, but in the Guns and Ammo game you are better off not being an early adopter.
Tip of the hat to Rusty Shackleford off Facebook.
