On this day in History

75 Years ago today was "Black Sunday"...


The 1937 Flood was the greatest natural disaster in Northern Kentucky history. That year, the Ohio River reached a crest of 79.99’ – 27’ above flood stage.

I do have to admit that I just learned this fact today (walking past the TV news) and it has nothing to do with the name of this blog.  That came from my days as a disgruntled dish dog.
